I'm Emily Ito Wu (she/they), a UX/UI designer with 4 years of experience and a visual storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY.

The thread across all my work - design, film, comedy, or dance - is the same: translating an idea, intent, or emotion into a form that lands.

In product, that means turning complex systems into clear tools that help people do their jobs better. On stage or behind a camera, it's finding the shape of a story that makes people feel seen.

Right now, I teach Zumba to kids at a youth nonprofit and am looking for a product design role at an early-stage company working on complex, AI-informed products - especially in healthcare, civic tech, or education.
